We are aiming to develop an advanced optical sensor platform to  greatly improve our ability to understand the mechanism of our world.  Our research combines both fundamental research and applications, and  mainly focused on the following aspects.

我们的目标是建立世界一流的先进光学传感检测平台并提供重要的工具来改善人类认识世界的能力。我们的基础研究工作和实际应用紧密结合,重点开展以下九个方面的内容。

1. New Optical Sensing Scheme and Methods

New optical sensing scheme and methods with improved performance: high selectivity, sensitivity and   accuracy; throughput, in situ, online and rapid analysis.

建立光学传感新方法:着重改善分析检测的灵敏度、选择性、准确度和分析检测的速度,建立高通量、原位、现场在线的快速、价格低廉、操作方便的检测新方法。

2. New Applications.

New applications: optical chemical and biosensors for environmental monitoring, biological research, medical and industry applications.

新应用:研制便携(可穿戴)、高精度、简单易用的高性能光学传感器用于环境监测(包括大气、水、土壤污染的监控)、医疗(医用检测试纸、Point of care快速在线检测设备等)、食品安全和卫生、工业生产(爆炸物或危险品实时监控等)和现代农业(育种、储存等)。

3. New Sensor Format and Target.

New Sensor Format and Target: Planar, sprayable,  fiber-optic and nano-size sensors for measuring gas (oxygen, carbon  dioxide, etc), ion (pH, heavy metal ions, alkali cations, and anions),  temperature, small metabolic molecules (glucose), and biomolecules  (bacteria, proteins, nucleic acids, antibody and enzymes).

新传感模式和检测目标物:设计和构建传感膜、可喷雾、光纤和纳米尺寸的传感器用于测量气体(包括氧气、二氧化碳等)、离子(pH,重金属离子,碱金属离子和阴离子)、温度、小分子代谢物(葡萄糖),和生物分子(细菌、蛋白、核酸、抗体、酶等)。

新技术:开发具有高时间分辨和空间分辨率的荧光强度和荧光寿命成像技术,为研究飞机、火箭、动车组等高速运动物体的气动外形设计和高精度测量提供技术。

9. New Sensor Devices and Instruments

New sensor devices and instrument: fabricate high performance sensor devices and instruments for point of care, real-time online, and field applications

新设备:研制高性能传感检测设备用于原位、现场在线快速检测分析,如医疗快速检测器,食品安全评估设备,环境污染评估和污染物快速检测设备,矿井、高原和太空气体测量设备。
